Updates!!!!

Updates, updates!!!!
Oops It's been a while since the last post :P
Hope everything is well with all of you.

Here are some photos of me and my friends :D

Me and Miki Miyamoto.  We've been friends since we were 18yrs old.  We both studied in the US, both are singers. She went East, I went West for school. I saw her only once while I lived in the states while ago, to visit her in Boston.  She is determined and is very responsible.  Years later both of us were already back in Japan, but I never had a chance to see her until we ran into each other at a mid night jam session in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo.  We were both so excited to see each other.  Since then, we clicked and started doing gigs together.  She has classically trained strong voice and I love singing backup for her!!  Miki performs and teaches mainly in Tokyo area.

I met Maya Hatch for the first time at the same mid night jam session that i saw Miki.  She is originally from Seattle but lived in NY for many years.  Now she has gigs mainly in Tokyo area with killin' musicians.  She has a tour coming up soon so everybody should check her out!  She is a very sweet person and makes everybody happy with her positive aura!!!! Now us 3 are really good friends!  I enjoy singing with them so much!!!! ...among other things! I'm gonna miss them so much when I move to NYC in.....  less than 3weeks....

This is a photo from afternoon hang we did in Aoyama.  Super chill.  Food and wine was delicious!  Come to think of it, "a random hang with musician friends" like this is pretty rare, unless it's gig-related,  at least for me recently.  So all of us felt really good.  What a nice afternoon it was!
Thx for the fun conversation!  lol

I thank everyone who came to my shows for supporting live music. (Thx Akiko & Aico for the photos from 7/23. )  It's been great learning experiences for me.  Your support really means a lot.  Music does connect people.  I love meeting new and interesting people who give me different perspectives.

July is almost over and I can't believe time flies so quickly.
August will be a pretty hectic month I can see that already, but I'll try to update my transitions into another culture again, school life, new friends, new city etc. etc.
I'm excited, but I don't really have time to get too exited! lol

Ciao, for now

Love, Peace and Music
